I don't feel any different to how I did in 2008; I'm still alone, I'm still depressed, and I'm still wondering why I bother to carry on.
But it doesn't stop me wishing everyone a Happy New Year and hoping that 2009 turns out to be a good one for you.

I hope the tide will start to turn for you in 2009 and the good times will outnumber the bad.
The Witch Doctor doesn't much like the New Year either so she files papers and cleans things and makes all sorts of impossible plans for the future and for some weird reason listens to Delius. The music of Delius reminds her of summer.
And woe betide anyone who expects The Witch Doctor to go to a New Year party! They are told in no uncertain terms that this is my grumpy time and will they please leave me alone!
What a genius Witch Doctor is, grumpy time or not! She truly understands your difficulty and should have given you inspiration to look more positively on what 2009 might bring for you.
You should 'carry on' because you can and, believe me, the world would be so much a sadder and emptier place if you weren't here. So refelect on that Madsadgirl.
